Part 2


For generations the people of Israel had waited for the promised Anointed One to come save them and the whole world from their sins, bad choices, and even death itself. When that moment finally came, a cast of characters witnessed his birth: Joseph, Miriam, the shepherds, and wise men were bystanders to the God-Man who came from the Father overflowing with tender mercy and truth. Celebrate this gift, given to you and the world!

An Angel Comes to Joseph

MATTHEW 1:18–25

This was however Redeemer, God’s Anointed One, was born.

His mother, Miriam, had promised Joseph to be his wife, but while she was still a virgin she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. Her fiancé, Joseph, was a good man full of integrity and he didn’t want to disgrace her, but when he learned of her pregnancy he secretly planned to break the engagement. While he was still debating with himself regarding what to try and do, he fell asleep and had a supernatural dream. An angel from the Lord appeared to him in clear light and said, “Joseph, descendant of David, don’t hesitate to take Miriam into your home as your wife, because the power of the Holy Ghost has formed a toddler in her uterus. She will offer birth to a son and you’re to call him ‘Savior,’ for he’s destined to provide his life to save lots of his folks from their sins.”

This happened in order that what the Lord spoke through his prophet would return true: Listen! A virgin are pregnant, she is going to provide birth to a Son,

And he will be known as “Emmanuel,”

which means in Hebrew,

“God became one of us.”

When Joseph awoke from his dream, he did all that the angel of the Lord schooled him to try and do. He took Miriam to be his wife, but they refrained from having sex until she gave birth to her son, whom they named “Jesus.”

The Birth of Jesus

LUKE 2:1–7

During those days, the Roman emperor, Caesar Augustus, ordered that the first census be taken throughout his empire. (Quirinius was the governor of Syria at that time.) Everyone had to travel to his or her hometown to complete the mandatory census. So Joseph and his fiancée, Miriam, left Nazareth, a village in Galilee, and journeyed to their hometown in Judea, to the village of Bethlehem, King David’s ancient home. They were needed to register there, since they were both direct descendants of David. Miriam was pregnant and nearly ready to give birth.

When they arrived in Bethlehem, Miriam went into labor, and there she gave birth to her firstborn son. After wrapping the newborn baby in strips of cloth, they laid him in a feeding trough since there was no available upstairs room in the village.

An Angelic Encounter

LUKE 2:8–20

That night, in an exceedingly field close to Bethlehem, there were shepherds watching over their flocks. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared in radiant splendor before them, lighting up the field with the blazing glory of God, and the shepherds were terrified! But the angel confident them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I even have return to bring you excellent news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere! For these days in Bethlehem a rescuer was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the Messiah. You will acknowledge him by this miracle sign: you’ll notice a baby wrapped in strips of material and lying in an exceedingly feeding trough!”

Then all quickly, a vast number of glorious angels appeared, the very armies of heaven! And they all praised God, singing: Glory to God in the highest realms of heaven!

For there’s peace and a decent hope given to the sons of men.

When the choir of angels disappeared back to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go! Let’s hurry and find this Manifestation that is born in Bethlehem and see for ourselves what the Lord has revealed to us.” So they ran into the village and found their way to Miriam and Joseph. And there was the baby, lying in a feeding trough.

Upon seeing this miraculous sign, the shepherds recounted what had just happened. Everyone United Nations agency detected the shepherds’ story was surprised by what they were told.

But Miriam treasured all these things in her heart and often pondered what they meant.

The shepherds came back to their flock, rapturous over what had happened. They praised God and glorified him for all they had heard and seen for themselves, just like the angel had said.

LUKE 2:21–38

On the day of the baby’s circumcision ceremony, eight days once his birth, his folks gave him the name Saviour, the name prophesied by the angel before he was born. After Miriam’s days of purification had ended, it was time for her to come to the temple with a sacrifice, according to the laws of Moses after the birth of a son. So Miriam and Joseph took the baby Jesus to Jerusalem to be dedicated before the Lord. For it’s needed within the law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male shall be a set-apart one for God.” And, to offer a prescribed sacrifice, “either a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”

As they came to the temple to satisfy this demand, an elderly man was there waiting—a resident of Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. He was a awfully smart man, a lover of God who kept himself pure, and the Spirit of holiness rested upon him. Simeon believed within the at hand showing of the one known as “The Refreshing of Israel.” For the Holy Spirit had revealed to him that he would not see death before he saw the Messiah, the Anointed One of God. Simeon cradled the baby in his arms and praised God and prophesied, saying: Lord and Master, I am your loving servant, and now I can die content,

He are going to be glory for your folks Israel, and the Revelation Light for all people everywhere!

Miriam and Joseph stood there, awestruck over what was being said about their baby.

Simeon then blessed them and prophesied over Miriam, saying: A painful sword will one day pierce your inner being,

for your kid are going to be rejected by several in Israel.

And the destiny of your kid is this: He are going to be arranged  down as a miracle sign for the downfall and resurrection of the many in Israel.

Many can oppose this sign, but it will expose to all the innermost thoughts of their hearts before God.

The Wise Men Visit

MATTHEW 2:1–12

Jesus was born in Bethlehem close to Jerusalem throughout the reign of King king. After Jesus’ birth a group of spiritual priests from the East came to Jerusalem and inquired of the people, “Where is the child who is born king of the Jewish people? We ascertained his star rising within the sky and we’ve return to bow before him in worship.”

And so they left, and on their way to Bethlehem, suddenly the same star they had seen in the East reappeared! Amazed, they watched because it went before them and stopped directly over the place wherever the kid was. And after they saw the star, they were so ecstatic that they shouted and celebrated with unrestrained joy. When they came into the house and saw the young child with Miriam, his mother, they were overcome. Falling to the bottom at his feet they worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure boxes packed with gifts and given him with gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Afterward they came back to their own country by another route as a result of God had warned them during a dream to not return to king.
