‘The Will’ of Christ Shall Be Fulfilled Through You
It was a very joyous and blissful day for everyone in Anita’s class. They have just got through all their exams for the academic year.
They decided to celebrate their earned freedom by going to vacation. On the day of travel all of Anita’s friends were having a fun time and enjoying themselves by singing and dancing on their way.
But, Anita had a very apathetic face. She confined herself to one of the seats at the last and immersed herself into the thoughts of her heart.
Why did I deserve such parents? Why didn’t I deserve some other home instead of mine? All, of my friends are very happy, having a fulfilled life and all their parents are leading as their examples.
But, here I am stuck with a father who is a complete bacchanal and a mother who is devoid of any love.
She was pleading to Christ to deliver her from her parents so that she could have a peaceful life somewhere else.
How many months have I been shedding tears at your feet for this and why haven’t Christ heed his ears to my prayers?
I feel exhausted of any strength to keep myself strong through this painful situation anymore. These were all the thoughts she was juggling with, on her heart in her travel.
It is only 2 years now, since Anita had admitted herself to class 6 in this school. Until, that time Anita had known not much about Christ.
But, being a very pious Christian institution Anita started to know and understand more about Christ through the catechism classes in her school.
After knowing the truth about the Christ she also accepted him as her only saviour. But, no one other than Anita have accepted Christ in her home.
Noticing that Anita was alone her teacher enquired what was bothering her? Without any hesitation Anita spilled her heart out to her teacher.
Then Anita asked her teacher as taught in the classes, If every prayer made to Christ through faith will be answered then why is Christ not hearing my prayer and not delivering me from this difficult situation?
Understanding Anita’s mood her teacher consoled her by quoting the following holy verse from the bible
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God, If we ask anything according to his will, he hear us(1 John 5:14)”
Yes, everything we ask, should be as per the will of Christ.
Christ has a definite purpose for everyone. Also Anita’s teacher told her that may be Christ provided his salvation to her first in her family so that he could save her parents through her.
She told Anita, not to shy away or hide herself from this trouble because the holy bible says
“ No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But, when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corin 10:13)”
Jesus Christ had a clear purpose when he came into this world. Christ always showed unquestionable interest in fulfilling the will of his father.
“ ‘My food’, said Jesus, is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work (John.4:34)”.
Because, Jesus came into this world in the form of a man he was very saddened by the gruesome death he had to suffer.
Even in that pain filled moment he prayed to his father saying “My father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet, not as I will, but as you will (Mathew 26:39)”.
Again, he went away the second time and prayed “My father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away from me unless I drink from it , may your will be done (Mathew 26:42)”.
Jesus knew that if he did not suffer his destined death then the purpose of his birth will not be fulfilled. Hence, he left it to the will of his father.
He conquered all the sins of this world through his death. Anita’s teacher told her that all she had to do was to tell Jesus that, thank you Jesus, for
choosing me as the tool for the salvation of my family. I praise you immensely because you are going to fulfil this work at the earliest.
Pray daily with this request and you will find a solution. Accepting the advice of her teacher, Anita started to pray for the salvation of her family and immediately she found a peace in her heart.
She let go all her past problems, awaiting the time of happy spring that was destined for her.
Dear children, you might have a problem that is upsetting your heart. But, always understand this, nothing happens in your life without the will of Christ.
So, always accept that you are grateful for such a thing happening in your life and always praise Jesus and he shall complete his works through you.
He will always shower your life with his abundant blessings. Let the Christ himself fill you with all the blessings in life.
